What this means:
Clover will be discontinuing support for the following legacy devices: Station 1, Flex 3G, Mobile 1, and Mini 1. In response, Clover Sport will ensure a safe and quality experience for you and your customers by phasing out software updates beginning on August 31, 2022. To reduce the impact on your operations, we will provide one year of Maintenance Mode to fix any bugs affecting Critical Functionality until August 30, 2023.
Here are the model numbers for impacted devices:
- Clover Station 1- C100 (Wifi)
- Clover Mobile 1- C200 (Wifi), C201 (3G)
- Clover Mini 1- C300 (Wifi), C301 (3G)
- Clover Flex 3G- C401
NOTE: Your newer devices– including the Station 2018, Station Duo, Flex 1, Flex 2, and Mini 2–are not impacted by this communication. These devices will continue to receive updates from Clover Sport.

NOTE: Your newer devices–Station 2018, Station Duo, Flex 1, Flex 2, and Mini 2–are not impacted by this communication. These devices will continue to receive updates from Clover Sport.
What is critical functionality?
- Uptime - user not able to log in on the device
- Menu Publishing - menus do not update
- Ordering & Payment Workflows - cannot place an order, cannot capture payments, cannot capture tips (Cash, Credit, Debit, existing SV, and existing Loyalty) in Bypass systems.
- Fulfillment Workflows - cannot print orders to network printers or send to KDS.
- Receipts Generation/Printing - cannot generate/print receipts
