Setting a default location on a Flex device serves two purposes:
- If you change the Portables Location and take a new order, it will trump the default location. In other words, the menu associated with the location you choose in Portables Location will populate instead of the Default Location's menu.
- The Default Location only affects Portables mode. If you switch to ordering mode, you will still be prompted to Select Your Location and your Service Location.
To get to Settings, navigate to the three dots on the upper right corner of your orders screen. From the drop down menu, select Settings.
1. Expeditor Mode
If you've selected a Default Location in Settings and you navigate to Expeditor mode, the default location's orders will populate automatically. In this example, the Default Location is Frozen Zone, so Frozen Zone's orders are displaying. If you click the down carrot next to the location name, you can choose to view another location's orders.
2. Default Menu
If you've selected a Default Location in Settings and you navigate to the Register, the default location's menu will populate automatically. In this example, the Default Location is Frozen Zone, so Frozen Zone's menu is displaying. If you'd like to switch to another location, you will navigate back to settings and change the Portables Location.
