Viewing Inventory Status by Stock Item

Bypass Manager offers a convenient way to see the Status of your inventory for all of your Stock Items at their corresponding locations. Details are listed below on how to view your inventory's status information, and how this option can benefit you when viewing inventory data.

You can view this information by navigating to Inventory > Status within Bypass Manager.

Inventory Status for a Single Stock Item

To view more detailed Status information for a Stock Item click the View Stock Items button in the upper-right then click the Stock Item's name in the list.

 


 

 

Setting Par Levels

When wanting to keep an ideal number of a certain item in your inventory at a specific location, you can set the Par for items.

  1. When viewing the inventory status of a single Stock Items, click the Pencil icon to the right of a stock item under the Par Totals column.
  2. In the left field, enter the minimum quantity of the item to be held at that location.
  3. Select the Unit of Measure in the right field for that item.
  4. Click the Plus icon to save the changes.

 

Bring a Location to Par

If a location is under par and you would like to resupply the location, you can bring a location to par.

 

  1. From the Inventory Stock Item Status screen, click the link Bring to Par to the right of a location.
  2. In the Select Source dialog, select the location in which the items will come from.
  3. If you need more or less than par, enter the percentage amount into the Percentage of Par field.
  4. Click the Create Transfer button to start creating the request.
  5. The New Transfer page will be opened with fields and Stock Items automatically filled in.
  6. Continue following the steps outlined in the article Performing Inventory Transfers to finish creating the Transfer.

 

Transfer Stock Items into a Location

  1. In the list of Locations on the Stock Item Status page, click the Transfer In link to the right of a Location.
  2. The New Transfer page will be opened with the Destination field automatically filled into the selected Location.
  3. Continue following the steps outlined in the article Performing Inventory Transfers to finish creating the Transfer.

 

Transfer Stock Items out of a Location

  1. In the list of Locations on the Stock Item Status page, click the Transfer In link to the right of a Location.
  2. The New Transfer page will be opened with the Source field automatically filled into the selected Location.
  3. Continue following the steps outlined in the article Performing Inventory Transfers to finish creating the Transfer.
